Is it just me, or does Lego seem to be trying to rush everything just to get to the pot of gold? I feel overwhelmed by these little yellow block men.Graphically speaking, the game is a little improvement (or none at all) over the Lego games of the PS3-era. Ok, we had the Lego Movie in Feb, Lego Marvel Super Heroes in Nov, and the Batman craze before. However, there may come a time when having too much of a good thing comes true. While quick-time events may be nothing new in gaming and are not considered a great thing, these few scenes (especially dancing dwarves in Bilbo's house) using QTE are super fun. Super simple puzzles for building object seems like a good addition. And when compared to LEGO LOTR, LEGO Hobbit feels just a little worse.Few new mechanics were added. And when compared toI know that this isn't an official sequel to LEGO Lord of the Rings but I think it is fair to treat this game as such.
